Forsaken I lie.....

I do not confess to my guilt, I simply exist in it, thriving on its wretched cynicism,
Not knowing, not seeing, nor feeling as the world passes by untouched by reality,
While We all drown ourselves in our pathetic little indulgences
Hiding behind our cigarettes: clouds of smoke
hoping to blot out our pointless troubles,
our remorseful sins and our mongering fears
ever chasing that which does not exist.........Truth
We are destitute without it, thus we seek it
and never find it, before it’s too late.
Only one who has lost everything could possibly understand
That poison does not bring you to an end....You do.

To fall in love is poison, and when you lose it
you are driven to something far worse than death.
To lose something so profound
leaves its scar of unspeakable horrors
where vengeance becomes the only resolve
vengeance against the whole of existence.
I watched them burn, burn in my fury
watched their eyes as they died, with the
Ever lingering caption of her cold body
lifeless in my hands. Drained of all life and warmth,
drained of .........

It came to pass that no longer did i need anything
no longer did i want anything,
just emptiness, blackness
my vengeance was done, my drink was empty
And I Tossed the empty bottle back at the world!
Love, vengeance, sin, and all this, all this to realise that there is no life after death, only a stained conscience, I would know............I would know.
